In a historical moment in which we talk a lot about ecology and sustainability, Armo takes action by doing something concrete.
Often you want to contribute to green projects but finding your way around initiatives, associations and proposals is not always easy, as it is not obvious to identify serious contexts that are truly geared towards making a real contribution to the cause. Last year we met the leaders of the Paulownia Piedmont association who demonstrated with facts the goodness of their project “100,000 trees for Piedmont”, to which we immediately joined with determination and enthusiasm. We started by donating the first 100 trees last November and then continued with another 400 at the beginning of this year. The latter in particular have been planted in two areas near our plant in None, one of which is even visible from our plant. But to act even more incisively, we are starting with the initiative that contemplates the planting of a Paulownia tree for each order received in the period from 1st October to 31st December. A further step towards the concrete intervention in favor of the territory and the quality of life, which makes the partnership between Armo and Paulownia Piemonte well tested and destined to last over time.
The choice of planting portions of land with Paulownia is dictated by the almost unique characteristics of this plant, which grows rapidly and has an excellent ability to absorb CO2, thanks to the large leaves. Its beautiful flowers are also useful for preserving the life and activity of bees, which are very important for our ecosystem and severely tested by atmospheric pollution. A tangible choice of action to which the customer can contribute by deciding to place an order by December 31st and thus becoming the protagonist with us of a small, great gesture of responsibility towards everyone.
