Hot-dip galvanizing with hydraulic tailgate

The hydraulic side panel hinged on the upper platform for the platform / truck bed coupling, is made in sectors (central 1000 mm and lateral sides 200/250 mm) with length 400 – manually or hydraulically operated by means of an hydraulic cylinder. Nails up to L = 1200 mm on request.

It is a strengthening of the upper platform platform that, when closed in a floor-level position, allows the transit of vehicles with a total weight of 15 Tons.

Since for these types of platforms the lifting of the operator is also foreseen, it is necessary to guarantee the fulfillment of the additional mandatory safety requirements of the EN 1570-1 standard regarding the platform itself, which provides that:

• near the control, there must be a safety zone for the operator near the controls of at least 0.5 x 0.6 m
• the control must be fixed on a handrail at a height of about 1100 mm
• in addition to the control placed on the platform floor, there is an additional emergency stop to be fixed on the ground on a column or fixed to the wall

Furthermore, depending on the installation location, additional safety devices (parapets, bellows, blinds, etc.) may be required.

When required by EN 1570-1, in particular hazardous conditions, it is necessary to install H 1100 parapets on the sides where they are needed. Access gates are also available with electric locks, latches, or self-closing bulkheads.

The standard platform, while providing the hydraulic power unit and the electrical box in a protected position, is not suitable for being installed outdoors and subject to the weather. You can possibly provide two different types of treatments:

Hot galvanizing

• Hot-dip galvanizing of all the carpentry of the table
• Cylinders with special painting

Metallization

• Sandblasting of the carpentry
• Bottom with metallization (cold galvanizing) with EPOX cover and gray RAL 9007 polyurethane finish
  cylinder drainage to the control unit

To easily move the platform through a transpallet or forklift, the structure can be equipped with a shim of 120 mm. The maximum dimensions of the platform are 2500 x 1200 mm. In addition, we build platforms on steel wheels with sliding on rail, both crazy and motorized.
